Matthew Usher is a Canadian trumpet performer located in London, Ontario. He enjoys performing a diverse range of musical genres and styles, ranging from Jazz to Classical. 

He plays with many jazz, classical, and commercial groups in London, including his own Jazz 5tet, the Rob Larose Quintet, The Baddest Big Band, The London Jazz Orchestra, La Tribu, and as an upcoming featured soloist with the London Youth Symphony. Matthew has also played and performed with many Chamber and Large ensembles at Western University, including various chamber groups, the Wind Ensemble, the Big Band. He is currently a freelance player with many playing opportunities.

He has completed his Bachelor of Music with Honours in Education, and is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Trumpet Performance at Western University.
